Now Introducing The NEW 7tm.
A Revolutionary New Telemark Binding.

The first and the ONLY Din releasable Telemark binding with true Step-In convenience. Safe, durable and easy to use. It will… change your life!
Although there have been some releasable tele bindings out on the market before, they had problems with pre or inconsistent release and none were certified DIN releasable. The 7tm is the first and only DIN releasable telemark binding on the market today. This fact puts it in a category by itself.
Lets face it, as equipment improves, we are tackling more and more challenging terrain. As skis widths and weights continue to grow, the need is even greater for a skier to separate from their skis in a twisting or high-speed fall in order to better protect bones and soft tissue. Considering the costs associated with a serious injury, the 7tm offers a pretty economical alternative. Without a doubt, the 7tm is the safest telemark binding out on the market.
As if this weren’t enough, the binding also offers true Step-In convenience.
For years, telemark skiers around the world wished for a Step-In binding that one could click into and go, just like their downhill brothers and sisters. Well, it’s a fantasy come true. No more bending over, no more boot/binding complications, as you simply click into the new 7tm STI system and take off.
DIN certified Releasable and Step-In convenience? Makes any telemark binding purchase a no brainer. The 7tm comes in three models: The 7tm Power to serve those skiing in developed ski areas; The 7tm Power Tour for those skiing mostly backcountry and the 7tm NR (non-release) for those who want Step-In convenience but who don’t feel like they need a releasable binding. Accessories include: additional riser plates, ski brakes, a climbing bar, ski leashes and ski crampons.
The 7tm is engineered and manufactured in Germany to exacting standards. Innovative in the telemark field, 7tm was the first to invent the free pivot touring mode, a certified DIN release for bindings and now, the first true “Step-In” binding. It is as durable as any binding on the market and we have had many reports of skiers using the 7tm without problems into their second decade. DIN releasable, step-in and go and with German engineering… you just can’t ask much more than that out of a ski binding.
We hope you agree

Accessories

Ski Leash

The Stainless Steel 7tm ski leash is a strong, easy to use system for those who like to attach their skis to their boots.

Ski Brakes

7tm Ski Brakes are integrated into the binding system under the foot plate. They function to slow and stop the ski in the event your ski releases during a fall. There are two sizes to appropriately fit the width of your skis, 70mm, 83mm, 95mm and 110 mm. The exact width is somewhat adjustable when having the bindings mounted.

Ski Crampons or Harscheisen

7tm Ski Crampons are integrated into the binding system and are convenient and easy to install and remove. They can be a very helpful aid when ascending certain types of snow conditions, are rugged but lightweight and a great addition to your ski gear. Available sizes include: 85mm and 105mm. Ski crampons are designed for the Tour Power model only.

Release Housing Unit

Release Housing units are the toe piece which is mounted to the ski. If one has more than one pair of skis, one doesn’t have to buy a new binding for each, but rather can invest in just the toe pieces and move the releasable binding around to any pair of skis that are mounted with the Release Housing Units.

Flip Up Climbing Aids

Flip Up Climbing Aid Wires are integrated into the Power Tour and are available as an add on accessory on the Power Tour and Power Tour NR. The aids help conserve energy when flipped up into the upright position on steeper inclines when ascending.

10 mm Riser Plates

Increase the power in your turns by mounting your 7tm bindings on a riser.

7tm Upgrade Kit

The 7tm Upgrade kit allows the owner of a 7tm Power 2 or 7tm Power Tour 2 to upgrade their equipment to Step-In status without having to purchase an entire new binding system. Note: the upgrade kit is not compatible with original 7tm Power or 7tm Power Tour bindings.

Also available is a Quick Tool Adaptor and Mounting Jig for shop use.

Testimonial

Dear 7tm,

I don’t usually take the time to write letters like this, but in the case of the 7tm I just couldn’t help it. A little over ten years ago I bought my first pair and mounted them myself to an old pair of K2 Extremes I had out in the garage. I had raced in High School and college on alpine equipment and have had season passes since I can remember. As my local resort got more and more crowded, I thought it was time to get more mobile and go explore the side-country, and more recently, the backcountry. I decided on the 7tms because I had blown out of my alpine set up plenty of times and knew the critical importance of a DIN release binding. I guess you could say I like to go fast and didn’t want my new adventure in telemark skiing to be a slow one.

After a decade of skiing the 7tms and transferring them onto at least seven or eight different boards over the years I can definitely say this binding outperforms any other ski hardware I have ever owned. The last few years I thought of replacing them with a new pair, but just couldn’t justify it as the old ones worked just fine.

Now that you are coming out with the Step-In feature, I will finally have to give up and grab a new pair. I really love the idea of not bending over every time I put my skis on. Clicking in will be a real luxury!

Thanks so much for this great piece of equipment!

A proud owner for life,
